If you didn’t know so far, one of the best and most renowned ARCA drivers is Frank Kimmel. He was born back in 1962 in Clarksville, Indiana, and now he is one of the most popular yet retired ARCA drivers. His primary competition were the ARCA Racing series, where he competed from 1990 through 2016.

The most intriguing thing about this is that Kimmel has won the ARCA championship no less than 10 times, and out of those 10 times, 8 were consecutive times.

Obviously, today he is a bit older, and he now works as a crew chief and driving coach for Venturini Motorsports. The drivers he works with are also some of the most famous ARCA drivers – Leilani Munter, Hailie Deegan and Gavin Harlien.

You wouldn’t expect nothing else rather than this great wins from Frank Kimmel, especially since even his father was one of the most popular ARCA drivers – he won the ARCA race three times. Under his mentorship Frank Kimmel started doing racing street stock at the early age of 15. He won three championships in the Late Models as well.

The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is an auto racing sanctioning body in the United States. This body (ARCA) was founded in 1953 by John Marcum.

Today, it works as a very reputable auto racing body amongst ARCA drivers, with its president Ron Drager. The ARCA Menards Series races stock cars alike those we’ve seen in the past years in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. A fun fact here is that most of the cards that are used by ARCA drivers in the Menards Series were actually used as NASCAR cars.

ARCA’s drivers are basically both enthusiast or hobby cars racers and professional drivers, which is the main difference between NASCAR drivers and ARCA drivers. But we’ll talk about this later. You should know that the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) hosts the best racing events for cars enthusiasts, and these are broadcasted on Fox Sports channels, CBS Sports Networks and other very famous broadcasters.

The main connection between ARCA and NASCAR is that many of the ARCA drivers are there so they can get recognized and qualify for being NASCAR drivers. Moreover, as of April 27, 2018, NASCAR acquired ARCA, which basically means that there is an underlying and continuing connection between ARCA and NASCAR events and races.
